Snowflakes
Wednesday 6th January 2010 12:23 AM
Currently watching the snowflakes fall ever so delicatly from the sky, its always the first snowfall of the year that's the most exciting one, after that, everybody hates it. I personally love the snow, earlier on today, I stopped in the middle of my destination and stared at a tiny flake of snow, it made me think, when you look closely enough, you can actually see the shape of stars, every single snowflake, different to the rest, but this one little snowflake, which didnt last long in my warm hands, was breath-taking. I only wish I had a camera, with enough zoom to see what my eyes saw, but I dont think that's possible to be honest, I have an amazingly detailed eye. Anyway, people are complaining, its cold. They cant drive anywhere, transport has gone down the toilet, and nobody can be arsed getting out their wellies to treck in the snow for hours, but I dont see why their complaining? There's so much detail to be captured, I know this may seem a little too 'head in the clouds' but everybody spends so long complaining, they fail to see the beauty, and the depth of what is all there for us to see, its been given and we just ignore it like its not good enough. My dad always says I have a photographers eye, by that he means I will see everything as a picture, he is probably right, because I dont think any normal person would stop everything they are doing to look at a snowflake.. but screw being normal. This was more of a rant blog, but if anybody would like some snowy pictures, get in touch! As the websites pictures are down, feel free to check out my work on-
